Phukan, learned Standing Counsel, Gauhati University. The petitioner has filed the instant writ petition seeking rectification of the remarks given in her 8th semester examination in B.A., L.L.B., wherein, despite having scored 65 marks, she has been shown to have failed. When the matter was taken up on 24.10.2025; Mr. P. J. Phukan, learned Standing Counsel, Gauhati University, was asked obtain instructions in the matter. Today the learned Standing Counsel submits that the rectification has been already done in the portal. Today’s submission of Ms. S. B. Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she has verified the same and therefore, the petitioner would not like to press the writ petition.
