1. This is the fourth bail application filed under Section 483 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sahita for grant of regular bail to the applicant who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 888 of 2022, registered at Police Station – Civil Line, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh for the offence punishable under Sections 21 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985.
2. Earlier, the first bail application i.e. MCRC No. 11064/2022 was rejected on merits vide order dated 31.03.2023. Subsequently, the second and third bail applications i.e. MCRC No. 5829/2023 and Digitally signed by RAMESH KUMAR VATTI Date: 2025.07.14 12:52:32 +0530
2 MCRC No. 6081/2024 were also rejected on merits vide orders dated 16.08.2023 and 02.09.2024.
3. As per prosecution story, after getting the secret information, on 23.08.2022, the police seized 18 numbers of Planokuf syrup from concious possession of the present applicant and consequently, the FIR was registered against the present applicant.

Mr. Anshuman Shrivastava, learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the charge sheet has been filed and the applicant has been languishing in jail since 23.08.2022 but till date out of 12 witnesses, only 06 witnesses have been examined. He would pray to withdraw this bail application and submit that a direction may be issued to the learned trial Court to expedite trial.
5. On the other hand, Ms. Shailja Shukla, learned Deputy Government Advocate for the State would oppose.
6. Taking into consideration the submission made by Mr. Anshuman Shrivastava, this fourth bail application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the learned trial Court is directed to conclude the proceeding of pending trial preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Sd/-
