This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in harassing the petitioner by requiring his attendance in the police station of the 4th respondent though the petitioner is not involved in any offence and there by preventing him from attending to his daily works, as illegal arbitrary, unjust, without jurisdiction and violative of Articles 14, 19(1)(g) and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner by requiring him to attend the 4th respondent police station.”

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms.Marella Radha, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that no further orders are required in this matter as the relief sought in this petition has become infructuous.
3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that Court may pass appropriate orders.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is dismissed as the relief has become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
