GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: “….to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of Respondent Nos.5 in not registering a First Information Report (F.I.R) against Respondent Nos.7 to 10 pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.11.2024 even though the complaint discloses the commission of a cognizable offence and refusing to receive the petitioner's complaint sent through registered post. as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional, unjust and violative of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, Consequentially direct the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 herein to conduct a departmental enquiry against Respondent No.6 and to register a First Information Report (F.I.R) pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.11.2024 and to pass…. 2. Heard Sri V.Vinod K Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is not registered though the petitioner made a complaint to the police on 26.11.2024. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader on oral instructions received from the concerned police station would submit that the petitioner did not turn up to the police station to give further details to look into the complaint presented by the petitioner. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit petition may be disposed of by giving specific direction to the police. 6. Considering the submissions made, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to visit the police station and provide necessary 4 details to proceed with the representation dated 26.11.2024. There shall be no order as to costs.
