Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the Inspector-in-Charge, Farakka Police Station. According to the petitioner they happened to be legal heirs and joint owners of several plots of land situated at Murshidabad wherein there are several trees of mangoes, litchis and jackfruits. The said orchard is being grabbed by the private respondents and they are creating obstruction and interference in the management of the work. Be that as it may, the representation which was sent to the police authorities are on or about 25.04.2024. Learned advocate for the private respondent opposes such contentions. 2 State has filed a comprehensive report. Since the nature of dispute is amongst the private parties, State will act only pursuant to directions passed by an appropriate civil court. However, if the petitioner is faced with further untoward circumstances they would approach the police authorities who would address the same in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations WPA 13844 of 2024 is disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
