This application is filed by the applicant seeking impleadment of Mr. Page No.# 2/3 Ashok Kumar Dev Choudhury, Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering (Water), Hengrabari, Guwahati-36, Dist.-Kamrup(M) as a party respondent in the accompanying Cont.Cas(C) No.623/2024. It is submitted that Mrs. Gayatri Battacharyya, the earlier incumbent, has retired and Mr. Ashok Kumar Dev Choudhury has joined as the new incumbent in the post of Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering (Water), Hengrabari. Learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner submits that for proper adjudication of the Contempt Case, impleadment of the new incumbent as party respondent is necessary. Taking into consideration of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and also upon consideration of the averment made in the Interlocutory Application, it is seen that impleadment of Mr. Ashok Kumar Dev Choudhury, Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering (Water), Hengrabari, Guwahati-36, Dist.-Kamrup(M) as a party respondent in the accompanying Cont.Cas(C) No.623/2024 is necessary. Accordingly, Interlocutory Application stands allowed and disposed of. ‘Mr. Ashok Kumar Dev Choudhury, Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering (Water), Hengrabari, Guwahati-36, Dist.-Kamrup(M)’ is impleaded as sole party respondent in Cont.Cas(C) No.623/2024 in place of ‘Mrs. Gayatri Bhattacharyya, the Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering (Water), Hengrabari, Guwahati- Page No.# 3/3 36, Dist.-Kamrup(M)’.
