SREENIVASA REDDY Criminal Petition No.205 of 2025 Order: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of BNSS, has been filed by the petitioners herein/accused Nos.1, 3 to 5, seeking regular bail, in Cr'lme No.293 of 2024 of II Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam Commissionerate, registered for the offence punishable under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short `the NDPS Act,) . 2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 29.ll.2024, on credible information, the Sub-Inspector of Police along with his staff and mediators, proceeded to opposite LIC Building, near RTC Complex, Central Park, and found the accused in possession of 20.028 KGs of Ganja. The contraband along with other material was seized under cover of a mediators report. 3. Heard. Perused the record. 4, The petitioners are in judicial custody since 30.1I.2024. The quantity of Ganja allegedly seized from the possession of the accused is only 20.028 Kgs.
