ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…pleased to issue writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the constitution of India by declaring the action of respondent No. 4 and 5 viz., Asst. Superintendent of Police, CCS Division and the Station House Officer, CCS Police Station, Tirupati, in interfering into the civil dispute by forcing the petitioner to come for settlement with private persons as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondent No. 4 and 5 viz.. Asst. Superintendent of Police, CCS Division and the Station House Officer, CCS Police Station, Tirupati not to interfere into the dispute by threatening/forcing the petitioner to come for a settlement with private persons and to pass…”
2. Heard Sri D.Purna Chandra Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the police are calling the petitioner to the police station to settle the civil dispute between the petitioner and the third parties. Learned counsel would further submit that a direction may be given to the police to follow the due process of law.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders.
5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is allowed. However, the police are directed not to interfere in the civil dispute. In case, any case is

registered against the petitioner, it does not preclude the police to proceed in that matter according to law. No order as to costs.
