PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings against petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 4 in FIR No.261 of 2019 on the file of A.S.Nagar Police Station, Vijayawada City, registered for the offecnes under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 an 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced a copy of instructions of the Sub-Inspector of Police, A.S.Nagar Police Station, Vijayawada City, wherein it is stated that, after due investigation, the police filed a charge sheet vide C.C.No.3494 of 2020. Thereafter, both parties have compromised the matter in Lok-adalat on 23.01.2021. 3. Recording the above instructions, this Court is of the view that no cause survives in this petition, and it has become infructuous. 4. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
