2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Adityapur P.S. Case No. 369 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 17(b)/21(b)/27(A) of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Seraikella.
3. On 02.10.2024 at about 2:15 pm, Adityapur Police on the basis of confidential information raided a place near H. Road, Muslim Basti, Adityapur and apprehended the co-accused person. On search, 19.55 grams of brown sugar were recovered from his possession. On his confession, house of the petitioner was also raided and 6.13 grams of brown sugar was recovered from there.
4. It was submitted that the seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph-4 of this bail application. It was finally submitted that co-accused Tarjima Khatton has been granted bail by this court vide B.A. No. 397 of 2025
5. Mrs. Lily Sahay, learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid fact.
6. In view of the submission made above, petitioner, named above, is
directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Seraikella in connection with Adityapur P.S. Case No. 369 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024.
