2. There is no representation for the respondents.
3. This writ petition was filed in 2017, challenging advertisement dated 15.10.2016, issued by Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal. By the said advertisement, applications were invited for appointment to various teaching positions.
4. Mr. Vinay Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no selection was held pursuant to the impugned advertisement and no regular appointment has also been made pursuant to the advertisement in question, therefore, the reliefs, as claimed in the writ petition, do not survive.
5. In view of the statement made by
learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
