1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to release the final bill to the tune of Rs.81,92,000/- towards the work done by the petitioner for renewal and maintenance of rural roads concreted under PMGSY of Chhattisgarh State for District Balodabazar vide NIT No.
825/TC-/ CGRRDA/2022, dated 17/10/2022.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the work awarded to the petitioner has been completed on 10/08/2023 and the completion certificate to this effect has been issued on 05/09/2023 by respondent No.4/ Executive Engineer-cum- Member Secretary, Project Implementation Unit, CGRRDA, Raipur, in favour of the petitioner in spite of the said certificate, the final bill has not been released to the petitioner by the respondent authorities.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that as the petitioner has raised the final bill but due to non-availability of funds, the same has not been disbursed to the petitioner. He
3 / 3 would further, on instruction, submit that the payment towards the bill raised by the petitioner will be released within a period of 90 days.
4. I have learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the State, the respondent authorities are directed to release the final bill as raised by the petitioner and if the work has already been completed as certified in the work completion certificate and there is no dispute towards the bill raised by the petitioner, the said undisputed amount shall be released to him within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Sd/- (BIBHU DATTA GURU)
