The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Sri J.V.PHANIDUTH, Advocate for the Petitl-oner and of Public Prosecuto'r for Respondent, the Court made the following. ORDER: THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K. SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.155 0F 2025 ORDER -. The Criminal Petition is filed on behalf Of the Petitioner herein/Al to grant anticipatory bail in connection With Crime No.252 of 2022 of Jaggaiahpet Police Station, NTR District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 417 and 506 read with 34 lPC. 2. Case of the prosecution is that On 13.O8.2022, the defacto complainant filed a report before the police stating that initially Al followed her on the pretext of love and wanted to marry her and also introduced A2 to A6 and they made her to believe tha,t they WOuld perform her marriage with A1. Thereafter, Al enjoyed her for several times in his house. subsequently, when she requested Al to marry her, he demanded dowry for Rs.50,00,000/-. 3. Heard. Perused the record. 4. On a perusal of the material on record goes to showthat the accused and the defacto complainant are closely related to each other. on the pretext of marrying the defacto complainant, the petitioner/A.1 and the defacto complainant have gone physical and they maintained their relationship since 2016 onwards. ,For a period -c- Il of six years, their bond was contlnuing and thereafter the petitioner refused to marry the defacto complainant for the reasons best known. ln the sal'd facts of the case, there is any amount of ambiguity whether an offence under sectI®On 376 of the IPC would attract or not. At this stage of jnvestl-gation, this court refrains to comment about the same. It is submI-tted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitI'Oner herel'n is working as Bank Manger. 5. ln vI'eW Of the aforesaI®d facts and circumstances of the case, this court is incll'ned to consider request of petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail. 6. Accordl'ngly, in the event of his arrest, petitioner herein sha" be released on baI®I on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) wl-th two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfactI'On Of the arresting poll-Ce OffiCI'alS, and also on condition that the petI-tiOner shall make himself aval'Iable for l'nvestI-gatiOn as and when requI'red and that he sha" not cause any threat, inducement or proml'se to the prosecutI'On Witnesses. The petitI-Oner shall appear before the station House officer concerned once I-n a Week i.e. on every Sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 01.00 p.m., tI-Il filing of the charge sheet. -c- 7. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed.
