He has preferred this writ petition with the grouse that he is to superannuate within a year, therefore, he should be transferred to a place of his preference and representations preferred by him in this regard dated 19.03.2025 (Annexure P-2) (prior to his promotion) & 30.09.2025 (Annexure P-3) (after DPC) be directed to be decided by the respondents. 3. In response to a query of the Court, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner had accepted his promotion and consequent transfer on promotion under office order dated 03.10.2025. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw the writ petition.
