SALAKATI DIST. KOKRAJHAR ASSAM PIN- 78336 Advocate for the Petitioner : MD H R AHMED, MR A MALEK Advocate for the Respondent : DY.S.G.I., BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER 01.12.2025 Heard Mr. HR Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. B Sarma, learned CGC for the respondents. 2. This writ petition is filed by the petitioner who submitted his candidature for recruitment of Constable/ Driver and Constable/Driver-cum-Pump Operator (Driver for Fire Services) in CISF, 2024, pursuant to the advertisement dated 03.02.2025 published by the CISF for filling up of 1124 number of such vacancies. The petitioner appeared in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) which the petitioner claims that he had successfully completed. Thereafter, the petitioner appeared in the Trade Test held on 07.11.2025, wherein he was declared Not Qualified in the category of Page No.# 3/4 driving of heavy vehicles without marks being allotted or disclosing his name. The petitioner was furnished with a mere rejection slip dated 07.11.2025 which contains the remarks “Not Qualified”. 3. By order dated 24.11.2025 this Court permitted Ms. B Sarma, the learned CGC to submit the marks available on records. 4. Today when the matter was called up, the individual record sheet in so far as the writ petitioner is concerned is placed before the Court by Ms. B Sarma, learned CGC and at Serial No.22 the result of the petitioner in Trade Test/Driving Test is available for the category of Driving Test for heavy motor vehicles and out of the total marks of 50, the petitioner has secured only 18.05 rounded of 19 and therefore, he was not qualified as the minimum qualifying marks is 25. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner in all fairness submits that this mark was not made know to the petitioner and therefore, being aggrieved, he has approached this Court. However, the records produced now reveal that the petitioner did not qualify in the driving test of heavy vehicles. 6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and after perusal of the records which reflects that the petitioner did not qualify in the Trade Test and has obtained marks which are below the qualifying marks, this Court does not find any merit to proceed in the matter and accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
