Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not showing the seniority of the petitioner in Krishna Division though the petitioner has opted for Krishna Division, and not relinquished his seniority as arbitrary, contrary to APSRTC Employees (Service) Regulations, 1964 discriminatory and in violation of Article 14 and Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents herein to reckon the seniority of the petitioner in Krishna Division from the date of initial appointment with all consequential benefits.
