The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 157/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 281, 109, 324(1), 317(4) & 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 12(i)(ii) & 13 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Latehar. 3. On 24.10.2024, Chandwa police intercepted a truck bearing registration no. BR24GA-8681. On search, 54 cattle/calves were seized from the said vehicle. The petitioner is said to be driver of the delinquent vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 25.10.2024. 5. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Latehar in connection with Chandwa P.S.
