It is seen that the instant petition is filed under Section 11 (6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of an Arbitrator. On the consensus of both the parties, this Court finds it appropriate to appoint Hon’ble Mr. Justice C. R. Sarma, former judge, Gauhati High Court, House No. 16, R.G. Baruah Road, Sreenagar, Bye Lane No. 6, Guwahati – 781005, as the Arbitrator in the instant dispute which however, is subject to his consent. Accordingly, the instant arbitration petition No. 6 of 2025 stands disposed of. Copy of this order and necessary communication to the newly appointed Arbitrator to be made by the Registry.
