GP FOR SOCIAL WELFARE (AP) 2. 00651 The Court made the following: 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 18330 of 2019 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to grant appropriate relief more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India declaring the G.O.Rt.No.496 Social Welfare (TW.Ser) Department dated 23.10.2019 issued by the 1st Respondent in so far as it relates to entrusting with the exofficio duties of Superintending Engineer in respect of Zone-III and IV to the Respondent No. 5 is concerned as arbitrary, illegal, mala fide, discriminatory, unconstitutional, violating Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India apart from contrary to A.P Business Rules and set aside the same and issue consequential direction directing the 1st Respondent to entrust with exofficio duties of Superintending Engineer in respect of Zone-III and IV to the Petitioner in terms of proposals sent by the 2nd Respondent in e-office file No. SOW0412/21/2019-NON TECH dated 20.09.2019 which was referred as reference no. 2 in G.O.Rt.No. 496 Social Welfare (TW.Ser) Department dated 23.10.2019 issued by the 1st Respondent pass…” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri P.V.Krishnaiah, learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed since the relief has become infructuous. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare for the respondents is in attendance. 4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed, since, the relief has become infructuous.
