This is the second application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner, namely- Nasiruddin Mondal (Raj) @ Nasir Uddin Mondal has prayed for anticipatory bail in respect of Numaligarh Rural P.S. Case No.72/2025, registered under Sections 61(2)/308(5) of the BNS, 2023. 3. The updated Case Diary has been received. Relevant portion of the same is perused. 4. Earlier anticipatory bail application being A.B. No.2274/2025 was rejected by this Court. 5. As per the allegation in the FIR, the accused is stated to have blackmailed the victim and extorted money from her. The alleged conduct of the petitioner is also finds support from the investigation. 6. The investigation is still in progress. The updated materials disclose that the petitioner illegally possessed the obscene/vulnerable photographs of the victim and later on made them viral. 7. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant him the privilege of anticipatory bail. 8.
