No.19336 of 2025 consequentially to set aside the appointment of the 6th respondent as the Chairman of the 5th respondent Agricultural Market Committee and to pass such other order or orders which this Court deems fit in the interest of justice. 2. The main grievance of the writ petitioner is that the post of chairman of the Agricultural Market Commiittee, Jaggaiahpeta, Krishna District is to be filled by Scheduled Caste Woman (S.C-W) as per the roster fixed by the District Collector, N.T.R District vide proceedings No. DATMO / VJA / 157 / B / 2024, dated 18.12.2024, but, serious attempts are being made to fill that post of Chairman by a male person from open category (O.C.) and the apprehension is well found as can be seen from the photographs annexed to the petition showing the name board, ‘Chairman, Jaggaiahpeta Market’ on the number plate of car bearing No.AP 39 RP 9414 even before the post is filled. 03. Ms.G.N.Uma Rani, standing counsel for Agricultural Market Committee submitted that the post of Chairman, Agricultural Market Committee, Jaggaiahpet has not yet been filled and this Court directed the District Collector, Krishna district to follow the roster vide the order dated 24.07.2025 in W.P.No.19124 of 2025 and therefore, the apprehension of the petitioner is unfounded. She further submitted that the roster subsisting as on the date of the appointment will be scrupulously followed and that G.O.Ms.No.77 BC Welfare (F) Department, dated 27.09.2019 is in force as on date. 04. The learned counsel for the petitioner requested to record the said statements. 3 BSB, J W.P. No.19336 of 2025 5. The standing counsel requested to dispose of the petition as W.P.No.19124 of 2025 was already disposed of with a direction to the District Collector, Krishna district. 6. Considering the submissions on both sides and after perusal of the record, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to follow the roster fixed as per G.O.Ms.No 77 BC Welfare (F) Department, dated 27.09.2019 valid as on the date of appointment of a Chairman of Agricultural Market Committee, Jaggaiahpet. There shall be no orders as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. ___________________ ___ JUSTICE B.S.
