The facts leading to file the present Writ Petition are as follows:- The Petitioner was appointed as driver in APSRTC in the year 1989 with employment No. E.No.353262. While driving the bus from Jaggayyapeta to Visakhapatnam, the bus was hit by another vehicle coming from opposite side and due to which the Petitioner had suffered major injury to his both legs. Subsequently, the Petitioner was referred to Medical Board for examination and he was found to be medically unfit for discharging the duties as a driver due to Osteolysis of right medial malleolus and severe O.A changes of Left Ankle illness as per Medical Report issued by Chief Medical Officer dated 14.07.2020. On 22.07.2020, the Petitioner submitted a representation for retirement on medical grounds and the Petitioner sought for additional monetary benefits as was being provided to the similarly situated persons in APSRTC. Though, the Petitioner had submitted a representation 11.12.2024, the same has not been considered so far, the present Writ Petition came to be filed. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that similarly placed employees working in APSRTC have been recommended for grant of additional monetary benefits and the Petitioner is also entitled the benefits on par with other similarly placed employees. 4. Considering the submissions made, this Writ Petition is disposed of with following directions; (i) The Respondent Authorities representation of the Petitioner dated 11.12.2024 and within a period of three (03) months from the date order; are directed to consider the pass appropriate orders of receipt of a copy of this (ii) The Respondent Authorities shall take into consideration of the additional monetary benefits extended to the similarly situated employees in the APSRTC while consider the case of the Petitioner. 6.
