The prayer in this Writ Petition is for issuance of mandamus to direct respondents No.4 and 5 to take appropriate action for conducting survey and for effecting Phodi / Durasthi in respect of land bearing - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:15599 WP No. 16492 of 2024 old Sy.No.112, new Sy.No.112/1 of Yalacheguppe village measuring 1 acre 31½ guntas. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that there was a partition effected between family members on 04.11.2006 and the petitioner, in fact, purchased the aforementioned land under a registered sale deed dated 26.04.2007 and mutation has also been effected pursuant to the said sale deed. 3. It is submitted that despite giving a requisition for conducting Phodi / Durasthi, the same has not been done by the authorities without any justifiable clause. 4. Learned A.G.A., on instructions, submits that the Phodi / Durasthi will be conducted within three months pursuant to the request made by the petitioner. 5. Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of directing the respondents No.4 and 5 to conduct Phodi / Durasthi of the petitioner's land, as required by him, - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:15599 WP No. 16492 of 2024 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
