2025:JHHC:15747 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A.B.A. No.6777 of 2024 ------ 1. Imtiyaj Ansari, S/o Ashraf Ansari 2. Arun Oraon, S/o Suman Oraon … … Petitioners Versus The State of Jharkhand. … … Opposite Party ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Ajay Kr. Pathak, A.P.P. ----- 05/ 16.06.2025 Heard the parties. 2. This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioners apprehending their arrest in connection with Kisko P.S. Case No.19 of 2024, for offences under Sections 310(4), 310(5) and 310(6) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 25(1-B)(a), 26 & 35 of the Arms Act. The case is presently pending before the Court of Learned J.M. 1st Class, Lohardaga. 3. Learned A.P.P. representing the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. 4. It is alleged that some culprits have assembled and they were preparing to commit dacoity. On this information, the police officials rushed to the place of occurrence and apprehended some of them. They disclosed the name of these petitioners, who fled. The firearms and other materials were also recovered from the co- accused who were apprehended. 5. Thus, from the F.I.R., it is clear that this case needs proper investigation including custodial interrogation of these petitioners. 6. Thus, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 7. Accordingly, this Anticipatory Bail Application stands dismissed. (ANANDA SEN, J.) Prashant. Cp-3
