ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in not considering the representation of the Petitioner dated 12.07.2024 seeking for correction of his date of birth as illegal and arbitrary.
2. The Petitioner was appointed as Clerk in Respondent No.2 society in
2016. At the time of appointment, the date of birth of the Petitioner was shown as 15.09.1963. Subsequently, the Petitioner was promoted as CEO of the Respondent No.2 society.
3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that as per the Birth Chart, the original date of birth of the Petitioner as 16.09.1966 and a Certificate was also issued to that effect by Registrar of Births and Deaths, Penugonda Gram Panchayat stating that the date of birth of the Petitioner as
28.03.1964. In that context, the Petitioner submitted a representation to the Respondent No.2 dated 12.07.2024 for correction of his date of birth in the service book. As the same has not been considered, the present Writ Petition came to be filed.
4. No representation for the Respondents.
5. Having heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and taking note of the date of birth of the Petitioner as 28.03.1964 as per Birth Certificate issued by Penugonda Gram Panchayat, the Respondent No.2 is directed to consider
/ the representation of the Petitioner dated 12.07.2024 and orders in accordance with law. pass appropriate
