Prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondents to release compensation amount in favour of the petitioner in respect of his one-fourth share in Khasra No. 44-ka, Mauja Sarai Daulat, Pargana Talgram, Tehsil Chhibramau, District Kannauj, in pursuance of award dated 19.10.2021. 2. The case of the petitioner is that he has one-fourth share in the acquired land and although an award has also been declared, but compensation amount is not being released in his favour. 3. The competent authority has placed on record a communication by competent authority dated 6.3.2025, addressed to the Project Director, NHAI, Kanpur Nagar. It is disclosed therein that the petitioner claims that name of Allajal Sahoon, son of Daulat Ali, is wrongly recorded in the revenue records and he is taking steps to get the same corrected. It is also stated that no decision has been taken in the matter so far as the petitioner has not supplied the relevant documents. 4. Having regard to the aforesaid stand of the competent authority, we dispose of the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent authority with a proper representation along with evidence in support of his claim so that it is examined by the competent authority in accordance with law. 5.
