Judgment 11/08/2025
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner on account of a bona fide error has filled the category as ‘General’ instead of ‘OBC’. It is submitted that in the written
[2025:RJ-JP:31172] (2 of 2) [CW-11958/2025] examination, the petitioner appeared as ‘General’ category candidate. Having heard the submissions made by the petitioner and upon a perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of a view that the petitioner as a belated stage i.e. at and around commencement of counseling is claiming to attain benefits under the ‘OBC’ Category, however, the same is not tenable at this fag end, as it shall render a grave impact upon the entire merit list. In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
