Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The petitioners by means of present writ petition have prayed for following relief: "(i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Joint Director of Education 1st Mandal Meerut to appoint the Authorised Controller in the institution, if it is necessary, but election of the Committee of Management of the College may not be held." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners could not indicate as to under which provision of law Authorised Controller can be appointed. He also could not establish from the record that the necessary conditions for appointment of Authorised Controller are present in the present. 4. Since no relief as prayed by the petitioners for the reasons given above, can be granted, therefore, the writ petition is dismissed.
