Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed for following relief:- "A) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no.3 to make correction in khatauni of new gata no. 360 area 0.3120 hectare i.e. 78 decimal (made of old araji nos. 3059/1 area 6 decimal and araji no. 3059/2 area 71 decimal) situate in village Satahariya, Pargana Mungra, Tehsil Machhalishahar, District Jaunpur wrongly recorded in bheeta khata in place of name of petitioners being maurusi grove land of the petitioners." 3. A preliminary objection has been raised by learned Standing Counsel that the petitioners have alternative remedy to approach appropriate authority by moving an application under the provisions of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 for correction of revenue entries. 4. Since the petitioners have an alternative remedy, I am not inclined to entertain the instant petition. 5. In case, the petitioners move an application under Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006, before the appropriate authority, the same shall be decided after hearing all the concerned parties in accordance with law. 6.
