IA ------ Order No.07 / Dated : 09.06.2025 Instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for quashing the proceedings in Certificate Case No.06 of 2021-22 and the notice served on the petitioner under Section 7 of the Public Demand Recovery Act (hereinafter in short ‘PDR Act’) vide Process No.254 dated 07.09.2021. 2. The main contention and grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has already entered into appearance before the Court of Certificate Officer, Mines, Dhanbad and filed reply to the notice denying liability under Section 9 of the PDR Act on 14.02.2022. No order has been passed on the said reply and the matter is still hanging in balance. 3. Having considered the submission, respondent no.3 is directed to hear the petitioner and dispose of the petition filed denying liability under Section 9 of the PDR Act within eight weeks of the order from the date of appearance of the Petitioner before the Court below. Let a copy of this order be communicated forthwith to respondent no.3 and the Petitioner will appear before the learned Court below on 9th July, 2025. Writ Petition is disposed of.
