Learned Counsel for the petitioner after arguing the matter for some time, submits that petition may be dismissed as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the jurisdictional court and file necessary application seeking regular bail. He also submits that considering the background in which the incident in question had taken place, the bail application of the petitioner who has no criminal antecedents may be directed to be considered on the same day. 2. The aforesaid submissions are placed on record. Petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty as prayed for. 3. In the event, the petitioner surrenders before the jurisdictional court and files necessary application seeking regular bail, the same shall be considered on merits and disposed of as expeditiously as possible, but not later than the period of two weeks from the date of surrender.
