Petitioner has invoked the inherent jurisdiction of this Court for the quashment of FIR No. 15/2025 registered with Women Police Station Kathua for offences under Sections 82 and 3(5) BNS, on the ground that he has resolved the matrimonial dispute with his wife-the private respondent at whose instance impugned FIR came to be registered. 02. Statements of the parties, in the light of compromise annexed with the petition, have been reduced into writing before learned Registrar Judicial of this Court. 03. The complainant-the private respondent no. 2 has stated that she has amicably resolved all disputes and issues with her husband-the petitioner and his family members, and that she is living happily with her husband. She has no objection to the quashment of the impugned FIR. 04. Parties have been identified by their respective counsels. 05. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, present petition is allowed and impugned FIR is quashed. 06. Disposed of along with connected application(s).
