Sinha, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Shailendra Kumar Tiwari, learned Special P.P. for the State as well as Mr. Amit Kumar Das, learned Special P.P. for the N.I.A. 2. This appeal is directed against the order dated 03.09.2024 passed in Miscellaneous Criminal Appeal No. 2361/2024 by the Court of learned A.J.C.-II-cum-Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Ranchi in connection with Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 189/2024, by virtue of which the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. 3. It has been alleged that a letter was received from the National Investigation Agency, Ranchi mentioning therein the names of several persons who are working as agents for human trafficking and sending victims for cyber slavery in South East Asian countries in the name of employment. After contacting the victims, N.I.A. collected information about the agents, active across the country and got the victims, freed. 4. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that so far as the appellant is concerned, the victim Miraj Ansari has not stated about any cruelty meted out to him. It has further been submitted that there is no allegation that the victim Miraj Ansari was sent by the appellant for cyber slavery at Cambodia. It has also been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 08.08.2024. 2 | P a g e 5. Learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant and has referred to the case diary to indicate the manner in which the appellant had been involved in human trafficking. 6. It appears from the counter affidavit that paragraph no. 17 of the case diary has been mentioned, which indicates that Miraj Ansari was subjected to extreme cruelty and he, with the help of the Indian Commission at Cambodia, had managed to return to his country. The appellant though not being recruiting agent, was actively involved in sending persons to outside the country to get themselves involved in cyber slavery which is substantiated by the statement made at paragraph no. 17 of the case diary. 7. In view of such circumstances, we are not inclined to admit the appellant on bail. 8. This appeal, accordingly, stands dismissed. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J) (Ambuj Nath, J) Jay-Rahul/
