This is an application for impleading the Chief Electrical Inspector, APDCL, as respondent No.5 in the connected WP(C) 5887/2024. Having considered that the applicant while filing the connected writ petition seeking compensation for death of the applicant due to electrocution on 12.02.2022 has inadvertently omitted to make the Chief Electrical Inspector as a party to the writ petition and the prayer for impleadment having not been opposed by the learned counsel for the respondents, I deem it appropriate to allow the prayer for impleadment of Chief Electrical Inspector, APDCL as party respondent.
