Mr. S Das, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, has placed on record, a speaking order dated 20.01.2026 issued by the Commissioner and Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Assam, disposing of the representation submitted by the petitioner, in the light of the direction passed by this Court vide order dated 19.08.2025 in WP(C) No. 4598 of 2025. This Court has perused the directions passed by this Court vide order dated 19.08.2025 and finds that the said direction has been duly complied with, with the issuance of the speaking order dated 20.01.2026. 3. Accordingly, the directions passed by this Court, having been complied with the present Contempt petition, need not be detained any further for adjudication and accordingly, the same stands closed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to present a challenge to the speaking order dated 20.01.2026 before the appropriate forum. 4.
