CM APPL. 18694/2026 (for taking on record amended memo of parties)
1. For the reasons stated in the application, the same stands allowed. The amended memo of parties is allowed to be taken on record.
2. The application stands disposed of. CM APPL. 18955/2026 (for amendment of petition) in W.P.(C) 12267/2025
1. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, it appears that the aspect as to whether the order dated 24.09.2025 passed by the Central Consumer Protection Authority (‘CCPA’) is without jurisdiction on the ground that the same has been communicated by the Under Secretary, can be looked into by the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (‘NCDRC’). The This is a digitally signed order. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. CCPA has the jurisdiction to deal with the subject matter of the dispute.
2. The Court, therefore, finds that there is an alternate remedy available for the petitioner to get his grievance redressed. There is no reason to enter into the controversy on merit, unless the petitioner approaches the NCDRC and avails the alternate remedy.
3. Reserving the aforesaid liberty in favour of the petitioner, the instant petition itself stands disposed of along with the pending application.
4. All rights and contentions of the parties are left open.
