Mr. Imrul Hassan ORDER The case is taken up before the National Lok Adalat. The appellant, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited, is represented by Mr. R. Goswami, learned counsel, along with its duly authorized official, namely, Mr. Bitopan Gogoi, Legal Manager. The claimant, namely, Raju Saha, is present in person along with his engaged counsel, Mr. A. Khan. Page No.# 3/3 It is submitted that the total awarded amount is Rs. 34,82,317/- (Rupees thirty four lakhs eighty two thousand three hundred seventeen) only. After negotiation, both the parties have mutually agreed to settle the matter for an amount of Rs. 36,50,000/- (Rupees thirty six lakhs fifty thousand) only, out of which Rs. 17,41,158/- (Rupees seventeen lakhs forty one thousand one hundred fifty eight) only has already been paid, and the balance amount Rs. 19,08,842/- (Rupees nineteen lakhs eight thousand eight hundred forty two) only is agreed upon as a full and final settlement of the claim. Accordingly, the appellant/ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited is hereby directed to deposit the balance amount of Rs. 19,08,842/- (Rupees nineteen lakhs eight thousand eight hundred forty two) only before the Registry of this Court within 1 (one) month from the date of the order and the claimant, Raju Saha, is permitted to withdraw the on being proper verification and identification. Registry to refund the statutory deposit of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only to the appellant/Insurance Company. The appeal stands disposed of in terms above. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
