Sri. Shantkumar Nagayya, learned counsel appearing for complainants and Smt. Namitha Mahesh B. G., learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for respondents/accused. 3. Respondent/accused No.3 - Smt. P. S. Kusumalatha, Deputy Director of Land Records, Bengaluru District has filed compliance affidavit dated 16.12.2024. 4. Paragraph No.4 of the compliance affidavit reads as under: "I respectfully submit that the Respondent/Accused in compliance with the Order dated 14.11.2022 in W.P.No.18863/2022 passed by the learned Single Judge, Respondent Authorities have undertook a task of conducting the Phodi, Durasthi and Akarband as per the representation dated 06.04.2022 submitted by the - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:6541-DB CCC No. 623 of 2023 Complainant herein. The copy of the Phodi, Durasti to the extent of 4 acres in Sy.No.33 dated 02.07.2024 is herewith produced and marked as ANNEXURE-R1. Similarly, the Akarband has also been undertaken by the Respondent/Accused reflecting the extent of 1 hectare 62 ares in Sy.No.33 in the name of the Complainant herein. Copy of the said Akarband is herewith produced and marked as ANNEXURE-R2." 5. Keeping in view the submission made by learned Addl. Government Advocate and the compliance affidavit, it is deemed appropriate that the contempt proceedings does not survive for consideration. 6. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings is hereby dropped. 7. At this stage, the learned counsel for the complainants seeks for liberty to approach this Court, if need arises.
