2. This application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Rikul Ali, seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Jorhat P.S Case No. 525/2025 registered under Section 305(a) of BNS.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that charge-sheet has already been submitted vide Charge-Sheet 531/2025 dated 27.11.2025.
4. As prayed for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this instant application is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner shall appear before the learned court below on receipt of the summons on the date fixed by the said Court and upon such appearance, in the event of any bail application being filed on behalf of the petitioner, same shall be considered till the said date of appearance, mentioned in the summons that may be issued by the learned court below.
5. It is provided that in the event of his arrest in connection with the above-noted case, the above-named petitioner, shall be released on pre-arrest bail of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) only with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting authority with following condition: (a) That the petitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer.
