...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the impugned action of the respondents, particularly the 3rd respondent in issuing impugned Notification dated NIL-07- 2017, thereby fixing maximum age limit as 45 years even in respect of in- service employees of the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies against the 25% earmarked quota for in-service candidates, thereby depriving opportunity of selection to the petitioners inspite of their long service for 25-30 years as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and further action in not considering case of the petitioners, inspite of representations dated 19.07.2017 and 20.07.2017 respectively as illegal, consequently direct the respondent to consider for age relaxation in respect of in-service Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies employees in respect of recruitment to the posts of Staff Assistant / Clerks notified in Notification dated NIL-07-2017 and to pass IA NO: 1 OF 2017(WPMP 30410 OF 2017 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the 3rd Respondent Bank to consider the petitioners for selection to the posts of Staff Assistant/Clerks notified in Recruitment Notification dated NIL- 07-2017 against in-service quota, without reference to age limit by receiving their applications manually, pending disposal of the above writ petition and pass Counsel for the Petitioner(S):

Shivaji, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of subsequent events, the cause in the present Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication in the matter. 2. Sri Y. Sitharam, learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Agriculture are present. 3. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
