ORAL ORDER
Heard Sri. Hanumanthappa B. Haravigoudar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and have perused the material on record.
2. The petitioner-plaintiff is before this Court, seeking the following prayer:
"To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the 1st Addl. Civil Judge & JMFC Court at Channarayapatna in O.S.No.90/2013 vide Annexure - A to pronounce
judgment as early as possible in the interest of justice and equity."
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner takes this Court through the Order Sheet maintained before the

concerned Court to contend that the suit is of the year 2013 and the matter has been languishing in the concerned Court even at this stage. He is before the Court on the aforesaid prayer on the score that the matter was posted for its
judgment on 30.01.2025 and the Court is yet to pronounce the
judgment and the petitioner now a septuagenarian and is awaiting the orders at the hands of the Court.
4. In the light of the fact that the prayer being innocuous, I deem it appropriate to direct the concerned Court which has heard O.S.No.90 of 2013 to pronounce the
judgment, without any further delay, at any rate within 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid observations, the petition stands
disposed.
