1. Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking quashing of the below detailed First Information Report (FIR), and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the compromise dated 30.08.2022(Annexure P-3), effected between the parties.

Vide orders dated 01.04.2024, 04.09.2024 and 18.02.2025, the affected parties were directed to appear before the learned Trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate, for getting their respective statements recorded with regard to the compromise. The Trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate was to submit a report in this regard giving certain details as enumerated in the said order.
3. Pursuant to order dated 18.02.2025, learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Moonak submitted its report dated 18.03.2025, wherein it is mentioned that despite granting two effective opportunities, RASHMI 2025.04.04 11:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M-10235-2023 2 parties failed in getting their statements recorded. For reference, report dated 18.03.2025 is reproduced herebelow:
“ Respected Sir, With reference to the order dated 01.04.2024, 04.09.2024 and 18.02.2025 in CRM-M-10235-2023 passed by Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, on the subject cited above. The Hon’ble High Court had again directed the parties to appear before the Ld. Trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate for recording their statements. It is respectfully submitted that the Court had again given two effective opportunities to the parties to appear before the undersigned, but they failed to appear before the Court for recording their statements with regard to the compromise, despite awaiting sufficiently. Therefore, the report is being sent herewith before your goodself, as desired for further necessary action. 4. Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition.
