This Court, vide order dated 28.08.2024 passed in MCRC No. 5636 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Dayaram Sahu had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Champa District- KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 Janjgir-Champa (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 31.05.2025 has requested for grant of 10-11 months time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the case is currently at the stage of prosecution evidence. In the main charge-sheet, the statements of two eyewitnesses and their evidence have been recorded, whereas the evidence of two seizure witnesses and two memorandum witnesses and one bank report witness are yet to be recorded. Similarly, in the supplementary charge sheet, the evidence of six witnesses have been recorded, while the evidence of three seizure witnesses and the investigating officer’s statement are still pending. Therefore, it is prayed for grant of 10–11 months time for the conclusion of the trial. 5. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting 10-11 months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 04 months time for concluding the trial from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
