The appellant, Oriental Insurance Company Limited, is represented by its duly authorized officials, namely, Mr. R. K. K. Sinha, Regional Manager, and R. C. Pathak, Manager. The claimant, namely, Abdul Baten, is present in person along with his engaged counsel, Mr. M. Khan. It is submitted that the total awarded amount is Rs. 51,799/- (Rupees fifty Page No.# 4/4 one thousand seven hundred ninety nine) only. After negotiation, both the parties have mutually agreed to settle the matter for a sum of Rs. 51,000/- (Rupees fifty one thousand) only as a full and final settlement of the claim. Accordingly, the appellant/ Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. is hereby directed to deposit the amount of 51,000/- (Rupees fifty one thousand) only before the Registry of this Court within 1 (one) month from the date of the order and the claimant, namely, Abdul Baten, is permitted to withdraw the same on being proper verification and identification. Statutory deposit, if any, shall be returned to the Insurance Company. The appeal stands disposed of in terms above. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
