In spite of the matter being listed today under the caption “for dismissal”, there is no representation for the petitioners. Under these circumstances, this Court has no other option, except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. 3. Further, be that as it may, from a perusal of the relief sought in this writ petition and the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it is noticed that the petitioners are seeking a direction to the second respondent to release the selection list, pursuant to the undertaking given by the 2 nd respondent for filling up the post of Pharmacist in the Government Medical Institutions. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 29866 of 2012 4. From the counter affidavit filed by the third respondent, it is noticed that the entire responsibility for filling up the post of Pharmacist in question was entrusted to Medical Services Recruitment Board with effect from 02.01.2012 by virute of G.O.Ms.No.1 Health and Family Welfare (C2) dated 02.01.2012 and accordingly, the post in question which is the subject matter of this writ petition was also brought within the purview of the Medical Services Recruitment Board and accordingly, the said post was notified and filled up in the year 2013 itself. 5. In the light of the above, this writ petition is dismissed for non- prosecution as well as on the ground that it has become infructuous.
