A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. The case of the prosecution is that: On 27.10.2024 at about 10.00am, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, S.I of Police, Rolugunta Police Station, along with staff reached Ratnampeta Village junction, Rolugunta Mandal and found the petitioner. On seeing police, the petitioner tried to ran away. Police caught him and on enquiry he disclosed his identity particulars and police arrested him and got remanded to judicial custody. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that major part of the investigation is completed except filing of charge sheet. 2 6. Basing on the confessional statement of co-accused, the petjtI-Oner has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. 7.
