The appellant, Oriental Insurance Company Limited, is represented by its duly authorized officials, namely, Mr. R. K. K. Sinha, Regional Manager, and R. C. Pathak, Manager. The claimant, namely, Muksedul Siddique @ Moksedul Siddique, is present in person along with his engaged counsel, Mr. M. Khan. It is submitted that the total awarded amount is Rs. 20,565/- (Rupees twenty thousand five hundred sixty-five) only. After negotiation, both the parties have mutually agreed to settle the matter for a sum of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Page No.# 5/5 twenty thousand) only as a full and final settlement of the claim. Accordingly, the appellant/Oriental Insurance Company Limited is hereby directed to deposit the said additional amount of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only before the Registry of this Court within 1 (one) month from the date of the order and the claimant, namely, Muksedul Siddique @ Moksedul Siddique, is permitted to withdraw the same on being proper verification and identification. Registry to refund the statutory deposit of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only to the appellant/Insurance Company.
