By this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR bearing Crime No. 301/2020 2 dated 20.09.2020 registered at Police Station, Deendayal nagar, Raipur, and further direct the respondent No. 1 to take immediate action on the application of the petitioner and proceed against the respondent No. 2 for lodging false FIR against the petitioner. 2. At the outset, Mr. Malay Jain, learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State/respondent No. 1 submits that the investigation has been completed and the police has filed the charge sheet before the court concerned and as such, this petition seeking for the relief as above, has become infructuous. 3. In view of the above submission, Mr. Sinha seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty to take recourse to law before the appropriate forum if the petitioner is aggrieved by the charge sheet filed by the police. 4. Learned counsel for the other side have no objection. 5. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
