For the Respondents: Ms. Leena Guleria, Deputy Advocate General. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Following order was passed in this matter on 25.04.2025:- “Learned Assistant Advocate General has placed on record office instructions 23.04.2025 and on that basis submits that benefits due and admissible to the petitioner under the judgment have been released in his favour. Learned counsel for the petitioner inviting attention to para-17 of the judgment submits that the interest component on account of delayed payment of benefits has not yet been paid to the petitioner. Learned Assistant Advocate General submits that the interest on account of delayed payment shall also be paid to the petitioner within next two weeks. List the matter after two weeks.” 1 Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes 2 2. Pursuant to the above order, learned Deputy Advocate General has placed on record office instructions dated 15.05.2025 from the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Karsog, District Mandi, which state that interest on delayed payment of arrear amounting to Rs.1,25,470/- has been sanctioned in favour of the petitioner on 15.05.2025 and has also been sent to the Treasury vide a separate and specific bill of even date for making payment to him.
