GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not proceed with the investigation in pursuance to Cr.No.390/2023 registered on 04-05-2023 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 4th respondent to complete the investigation and file charge sheet and pass.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.390 of 2023 and file a final report. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
